Walking and running

Here is a selection of free walking and running groups and programs. There is also information about bushwalking and walking trails or paths that might be available in your local area. 

 

They are inclusive to all ages and experience levels.

Boobs on the Run is a women's only running group with running programs for both beginners and experienced runners.

Bushwalking NSW provides information about bushwalk trails in New South Wales and about joining a club in your area.

operation move offers a 12 week online Learn-to-Run coaching programme for women led by an accredited athletics coach.

The Heart Foundation runs free, inclusive walking groups in large number of areas across New South Wales.

parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km runs in parks around the world. They are open to everyone and for all experience levels.
